The Brookside Lions Club members were primarily men and women in business who wanted to serve the community by becoming involved with our programs of service.   Membership in the Lions Club was a great way to make new friends, network for business and help your community and still is. Beginning in 2002, this club made significant changes to facilitate the busy, modern businessperson who is short on time but wants to help the community while making valuable contacts for their business, and provide a forum for information exchange. Although met with some success, changes in way the present generation addresses community service and our inability to attract new members forced the club to dissolve after 46 years of service.  Most members have joined other clubs in the Tulsa area.

Experience the Feeling of Service At the heart of Lions clubs there is one constant: service. Giving your time and energy to others is a fantastic way to help your community. Yet, it also provides a great feeling for you that can spread and have a positive impact in your life and how you approach the world. If the past 100 years have taught us anything, it’s that as we serve, we grow. And we were never meant to stop. Service is our journey. Let’s explore it together.
